Website hosting
This website is prepared for hosting by Netlify, Inc., USA. When the website is served by Netlify, technical request data is processed, including IP address, requested URL, browser information and request metadata. This is used to deliver the website, diagnose errors and protect it against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Netlify's data processing agreement describes infrastructure and security logs retained online for 90 days and offline for one year. This is a provider-level logging policy, not a promise that every visitor request is kept for exactly that period. Availability of request data in Netlify's dashboard varies by plan.
Waitlist and email updates
We use your email address to send MANDATE early-access updates and invitations when testing opens. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Providing an email address is voluntary, but necessary to receive these messages. Joining is not a purchase or permission for an agent to act on your behalf.
Brevo and double opt-in
Brevo processes signups and sends these emails on our behalf. Submitting the form sends your email address to Brevo. A confirmation email asks you to confirm your signup. You are added to the waitlist only after you confirm.
Brevo records signup and confirmation events to document consent, including your email address, the submission time, the confirmation email and the confirmation time. The confirmation link expires after 30 days. If you do not confirm, you are not added to the contact list, but records of the attempt and confirmation email can remain in Brevo's logs.
How long data is kept
Your email address is used for waitlist updates until you withdraw consent or the waitlist is closed. Records needed to document consent or handle legal claims may be kept separately for as long as necessary for those purposes.
Brevo documents that transactional logs have no automatic deletion deadline by default. A custom retention period can be set between one and 24 months. The 30-day confirmation-link expiry does not delete unconfirmed signup records. Log deletion depends on the account's retention settings or a separate deletion action. You can contact us to ask about the current setting or request deletion of your data.
Processors and international transfers
Netlify and Brevo provide hosting and email services as processors. Their service terms include data processing agreements. Their affiliates and authorised subprocessors may also process data, including outside the European Economic Area.
For transfers to Netlify in the USA, its agreement provides for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and EU Standard Contractual Clauses as a fallback where applicable. Brevo's agreement provides for appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures; it may use the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for applicable US transfers. Details and safeguards are available in the Netlify data processing agreement and Brevo terms, Appendix 3. You may also request information about these safeguards from us.
Withdraw consent and your rights
You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in our update emails or by writing to info@unitarytech.org. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.
Subject to the GDPR's conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us at the email address above to exercise your rights.
You can complain to a supervisory authority, including the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Alt-Moabit 59-61, 10555 Berlin.
No tracking scripts on this website
This website does not set cookies or load analytics or advertising scripts, external fonts or external stylesheets. The form sends data to Brevo when submitted. This statement concerns the website itself, not Brevo's separately hosted confirmation pages or email settings.
